AMBER EPPINETTE Before
she reached her seventeenth birthday, Amber Eppinette had already
achieved more than most vocalists do in a lifetime. Besides completing
her first Southern Gospel demo CD, Amber had also had several successes
in various Christian music talent searches. She won first place in a
national Christian talent search at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN, she
placed second in the Mitchell Entertainment Talent Search, and she was a
finalist at the Embassy Music Ultimate Talent Search and Seminars. The
effervescent Miss Eppinette was eventually signed to a single deal and
saw the Christmas release of “A Way In A Manger” make its way onto the
national charts in 2004. The fact that Amber is such an accomplished singer is to be expected, though, considering she literally was singing before she could talk. She then began playing the piano by ear by the time she was seven. At the age of nine, Amber recalls really feeling the Lord and Satan battling for her soul. She was at a church camp and she realized that she needed to make a decision for the Lord, so she prayed to receive Christ and immediately felt the assurance of salvation. It was shortly after making that decision that Amber decided to use her singing talents for the Lord, and she began touring. So, for that last eight years, Amber has been traveling and sharing her faith in song. She has performed in nearly a dozen different states, and has opened for the likes of Karen Peck, the Hinsons, Jeff and Sherri Easter, Naomi Segal, Mike and Kelly Bowling, and The Galloways. She’s also been tapped to lead the national anthem at a Louisiana State University championship game, at the Shriner Circus and even at a Harlem Globetrotters game. Amber loves to sing more than just about anything, and worship music holds a real special grip on her. She has been leading worship in a praise band at her youth church for the last 4 years. Although she’s only seventeen, Amber has already proven herself as a Southern Gospel vocalist, and has built a solid following of fans, including many in the Southern Gospel industry. With so much experience under her belt, it makes one wonder what the next seventeen years could hold for Amber. |
